Dani Dixon is a comic book creator, publisher and filmmaker. She is currently Creative Director at Tumble Creek Press, an indie publishing house she began in 2007. Dixon has created three series since then – 13, Escape! to Outer Space, and M.I.S.//ing – and continues to write for each. Last fall art from two of her series was featured on the Bruckheimer show “The Forgotten” (ABC). Dixon speaks around the country on topics such as diversity in comics, preparing professional portfolios and women in sci-fi. She has spoken at the Writers Guild of America on the influence of comics on Hollywood and regularly consults on comic book adaptations.
